Slim
Decanter
Decanters are often bulky and take up space, but Slim Decanter changes that. As the first decanter as narrow as a wine bottle, it can be used in two positions: horizontally for maximum aeration and vertically for serving and storage. Design challenges included ensuring stability when horizontal, the right capacity for one-handed use, and a pour-friendly opening. After several iterations, the final design resulted in a sleek, organic shape that stands out.

Kiwi
Soap Dispenser
Helsinki based brand Happy Sinks asked me to create a soap dispenser that prevents drips around the sink. After a few tests and hypotheses, finally Kiwi was born. The goal and challenge of the design process was to ensure that this dispenser had proportions and dimensions carefully adjusted to sit neatly on the edge of any sink. Though not initially planned, its resemblance to the New Zealand bird inspired its name.

Konna
Fruit Fly Trap
Konna is a compact fruit fly trap made from UPM wood composite. Its bait system, using cider vinegar and liquid soap, attracts flies in, trapping them on the soapy surface. My goal was to create a functional product with a touch of irony. For usability, I designed it in two parts that are easy to assemble and clean. Working in collaboration with UPM with injection molded wood composite biomaterials was a particularly insightful experience.

Filo
Tracker
Filo is one of the first Bluetooth trackers, arriving before major brands like Apple. As the designer, my contribution was to create a compact device with a bold identity and a replaceable battery, still a unique feature on the market. This design choice was key to ensuring long-term use and sustainability. The tracker integrates seamlessly with a simple app, helping you keep track of what matters most.

the
CityRadio
CityRadio is a portable internet radio that allows you to navigate and listen to stations from different cities around the world, discovering new music, languages, and traveling with your imagination. My goal was to create a digital radio with a magical and ‘analog’ interaction. Now available on the market, CityRadio features front magnetic keys for switching cities, while the upper keys let you navigate stations and save favorite frequencies.

Art Charts
for Palomar
Italian brand Palomar asked me to design a collection of felt posters that somehow represented a series of museums. During the research, my output focused on the concept of a mind map, and I tried to create, with a simple and easily implementable idea, what we later called Art Charts. The idea is to represent the labyrinthine nature of museums, capturing the idea of exploring and getting lost, along with the random nature of discovery. These posters display the path and content of 5 selected initial museums.
Identity and Website
for Verifa
I led the transformation of Verifa’s brand identity, beginning with a logo designed to embody the concept of "continuous." This project included crafting a distinctive wordmark logotype, selecting vibrant colors, and establishing guidelines for typography and imagery. The result was a friendly and dynamic brand image that reflects the essence of the Helsinki-based company.
Done Robotics
Research and Identity
I contributed to strategic research and ideation for Done Robotics' future products. The visual identity, which I also worked on, is part of the bigger picture and reflects the brand’s core values of modularity and movement. Due to confidentiality, the rest of the ideation work is not displayed here.
Phil
the bottle
Phil the bottle is the City Bottle that chooses free water, offered by the drinking fountains to be found in cities, in parks and gardens, in squares and along the streets. On the back of each bottle there is a list of the city’s drinking fountain locations, where the bottle can be filled.

Intercom
plug&play
A device that allows bike riders to listen to music, make and receive phone calls, talk to the passenger. Thanks to its small size the installation on the helmet is clean and non-invasive, a simple button on the left side will ensure full control of the functions while the speaker and microphone stay hidden inside the helmet. The aerodynamic design rotates around the central Midland logo.

Lucetta
Magnetic Bike Lights
Easy to attach to any bike, the two small lights – one red and one white – switch on with just a click and stay securely in place. Users can select a steady beam or a slow or fast flashing light simply by clicking the light on the bike. Once destination is reached, remove the lights, join them together, and slip them in your pocket, ready for your next ride. This product, entirely my idea and design, became a global bestseller.

Products and Packaging
for Redesign Happiness.
The brief consisted in designing a line of high-quality candles and their entire visual identity around the concept of Happiness. The result is these candles that measure the time dedicated to meaningful things. The entire product and packaging design revolves around an elegant and modernist graphic, providing space for a hierarchy of key concepts, and playing on the idea of measurement, randomness, and modularity.
Kitchen
Sink Mat
I was tasked with designing a modular silicone mat that could form a pattern to fit various spaces. It needed to be easy to clean and visually complement a modern kitchen. During the design process my goal and challange was to create a structure that could hold the pieces together when connected and be endlessly modular, yet never appear unfinished.

Tron-tribute
Exhibit Booth
Midland aimed to create a Tron-inspired space at EICMA, the Two-Wheeler Exhibition Fair in Milan. They asked me to modifying the Tron bike into a full-scale model for the exhibition and help developing the concept for the exhibition space. I focused on desiging a functional seat, logo placement, and other details, ensuring the design was both manufacturable and suited for display and use. I also provided a visual plan of the space.

Twin Talk
Concept
A concept for a pair of playful devices designed to keep loved ones connected through voice communication, like an old phone or walkie-talkie, without using a smartphone. These twin devices would connect via Wi-Fi, creating a direct, personal line between two people. I focused on making the interaction smooth, intuitive, and amusing. I created three variations of this idea, with one being more detailed than the others.

Motion Radio
Concept
I was tasked by Midland to design a headset for helmets used in outdoor and extreme sports, like biking, kite surfing, and climbing. My research focused on easy interaction and simple mounting. As often the case, initial conceptual drafts were crucial for establishing the project’s foundations with the team, allowing us to keep a wide view and avoid diving too narrow too quickly, considering all use cases and stakeholders involved.

Alpha Beta Gamma
A self-assembling sculpture in Carrara marble. Three marble blocks may be arranged in an infinite number of ways, so as to build small constructions for the home. Crumple City
Maps
Back in 2010, and for a few years after, we still traveled using paper maps. They were tricky to fold, tore easily, and would get damaged in the rain. One day, while in Berlin, I had an idea: what if maps could be crumpled and stuffed into your pocket instead of having to fold them? I went searching for the best material, created a prototype, and eventually presented it to the brand Palomar. The project became a huge market success. We developed maps for over 50 cities and around one million of units were sold worldwide.
