I’m Emanuele Pizzolorusso, an Helsinki based designer who loves turning complex problems into simple, engaging solutions.
For over a decade, running my own design studio has been the core of my professional life. I’ve led and personally executed a wide range of projects across industries, often collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds and disciplines.
I’ve taken many projects from early research and concept development to final implementation, guiding and shaping every stage of the process. With a T-shaped approach, I’ve consistently balanced strategic thinking with pragmatic execution.
Some projects have received international recognition, but the most meaningful achievement has been solving complex problems through curiosity, structured thinking, and collaboration.

My Experience.
-
Translating user experiences into innovative ideas for products, using a user-centered approach.
-
This is the core of my expertise: transforming ideas into engaging, visually appealing products. Taking care of everything from initial sketches to final prototypes.
-
While not my primary focus, I have learned to manage the consistent alignment of products and brand tone. This can include coordinating imagery, colors, typography, and creating logos.
-
User Centered Design has been a part of my work as a designer for physical products. Recently, I’ve been diving deeper through a more systematic study of the discipline.
Beyond Work.
Outside of design, I’m someone who enjoys traveling, reading, and exploring a wide range of disciplines like science and economics. I love playing tennis and am a certified coach, having taught the sport at different stages of my life.
